True beauty is one of the great delights of life! I'm so thankful that the @gardenofeden tends to attract beauty - beautiful people, beautiful plants, beautiful opportunities; life is so very enjoyable when surrounded by beauty!

I encourage everyone to adopt a beauty routine, because to me it is a devotional practice in self love. I believe it is an opportunity to give thanks for our incredible bodies and to feel the radiance of our health and unique vitality!

This Natural Beauty series celebrates the divine beauty that surrounds and permeates us, and offers recipes that utilize the gifts of nature to make sensual alchemies, potions, lotions, elixirs, creams, oils, balms, spritzes, and soaks that keep our body temples their freshest best.

Eye creams are a great way to tend the delicate skin around the windows to your soul, and I recommend using them in a nightly skincare routine for extra hydration and support.

Without further ado, here is my favorite recipe for a nourishing nightly eye cream:

• Mix 2 oz coconut oil, 1 oz aloe vera gel, 10 drops frankincense oil, and the contents of 1 vitamin E capsule.
• Store in a small jar.

• After washing face and using toner, dab on the eye area at night. Follow with a moisturizer for the whole face.
  
  
  

Frankincense is the dried sap of a particular species of African tree. It makes a beautiful essential oil with strong healing properties. It is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial. It can reduce puffiness and decrease dark circles or hyperpigmentation. Frankincense is a staple in my natural medicine chest!
