Beer Tasting: Brugge Tripel
Hello beer tasters!
My last beer tasting post was 7 days ago. And when I came home tonight, my older son just finished dinner (tuna spreads) and put me on the table a bottle of beer that my friend brought. This is for you. Cool.
Brugge Tripel
The beer is brewed by Brouwerij Palm (Swinkels Family Brewers), Londerzel, Belgium. Bottle, 0.33 l, 8.7% Alcohol.
It's a strong, tripel style beer, clear golden color with a lot of foam. A distinctive taste for bread and malt, quite herbal flavors like coriander, maybe orange, sweeter than bitter and, surprisingly dry aftertaste.
Probably a very good tripel, one bottle is ok but I don't know what would happen if I drank more than one (as I'm used to lagers).
