BeerSaturday - Cristal Portuguese Beer 🍺
In a brief and rapid passage through the North of Portugal, more precisely in Cete a village of Porto, we decided to make a stop to fill the emptiness that had settled in the stomach! 😁
And while we waited for the dinner treat, we sipped a beer from the area:
Cristal
The Black Cristal beer surprised me with its slight caramelized aroma, proved to be quite harmonious, fluid and slightly sweetened!
Its gas is normal, the foam slightly dense but durable on the edges of the glass and light tan.
Some nostalgia arose because I no longer remembered to take a bottle of beer with a rustic format since I was a child! (Attention I did not drink beer as a child... 😆 but, I lived with all kinds of bottles and aromas in my parents' Bar) and the Cristal Beer disappeared from the Portuguese center map for many years!
Alcohol content of 4.2% vol in 0.33cl.
Beer produced in Leça do Balio a Portuguese village in the municipality of Matosinhos.
Meanwhile the dinner arrived! 😋
And because we are in the environs of Porto we cannot resist the typical "Francesinhas", which, by the way, got married very well with the beer of choice!

It is a black beer produced in portugal and the food is delicious and I can say that the secret is in the sauce! ;)

Ipa mean India Pale Ale. It’s a type of beer typically know for its hoppy and bitter notes.
