The Little Edinburgh Project

This is Little Edinburgh, it is a series of shots I have taken around the city of Edinburgh in Scotland over the years. It is called Little Edinburgh because the focus of the project is to take photos in a way as to show the city in miniature using the tilt-shift effect. Edinburgh is an international cosmopolitan city but still somehow has a small town feel to it. I cannot walk down the street without recognising someone I know. So with that in mind it felt appropriate to create a vision of Edinburgh that makes it look very small, almost like a toy town.

National Museum of Scotland's Grand Gallery

This is a shot of the Grand Gallery in The National Museum of Scotland on chamber street, Edinburgh. It is the main entrance and focal point of the museum. From here you can reach all the exhibits in the museum. In fact, I am planning a little trip there tomorrow to check out Tim Peake's Soyuz capsule. Tim Peake being a british astronaut that was up at the International Space Station last year.

It's a beautiful building with wonderful victorian architecture that has recently been given a bit of tlc with a renovation, making the grand gallery brighter and looking almost new.
