Saturday was a low profile live-betting day with many low scoring macthes. The main bet on the Under in Oostende vs Stvv won comfortably along with the +1 on Charleroi. I also had quite a bit on a late goal in the Genk match that did not fall despite a good counter chance that was saved at the end. In the short run these kind of chances going in or not make a huge difference, over time it all does not matter that much though. The grind continues and I'm on to Sundays matches...

Moeskroen vs Kortrijk

Moeskroen are still on my teams to fade list while Kortrijk are on my teams to back list. The asian line is also set accoringly though with the visitors as favorite in the match. These teams who are on the bottom with only losses always start taking points eventually. At home against Kortrijk is not unthinkable for them to start doing so. It's one of those matches where I can't seem to pull the trigger pre-game and need some strong confirmation to get involved live.

Antwerp vs Zulte-Waregem

This is one of those matches I had marked. Antwerp has been one of the revelations and mostly stand out by their scoring saldo (taking 12 points in 6 matches scoring only 5 and getting 2 goals against). There is a setup for a reversal though. The reason they went 6W-0L on the under vs the asian total is because their team mostly lacked offensive creativity. This has now been solved with Rodriguez & Refaelov while Mbokani will also be available. The line-up will be a major indication for me when it comes down to goals. Zulte-waregem have been in something of a losing streak after starting the seaso playing good without taking points. Ther DNA is to play offensive minded which was seens against Club Brugge in the 2nd half despite being 0-3 behind. They are a very heavy 2H over team. I am not willing to back them before I see some form & confidence reversal. There is always a chance they switch to a playing style locking things down. This is one of those matches that could see a 0-0 or a 4-4 result and my lean goes out to the last. I will have to wait for line-up confirmation though before getting any bets. The 2nd half over will also be high on my watchlist.

AA Gent vs Sint-Truiden

This is one of those matches where I see things differentlycompared to the market. I got in early on the visitors as underdog ( see post ) but odds have gone up considerably since.

The home team has been putting up good results taking 13 out of 18 points. The way they have done so has not really impressed me and they consistently showed signs of having a hard time to break through defenses. Their coach also remains under pressure despite the good results. Stvv took their first win in week 6 at home against Oostende and I'm looking for them to continue this trend. Tough choice what to take in this match so I split my personal bets between different options Stvv 1st Half +0.5 @ 1.80 | 1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.80 | Stvv +1 @ 1.97 | Stvv +0.5 @ 2.60 | Stvv ML @ 6.26 | Under 2.75 @ 2.06

Stvv +1 is now trading at 2.19 without any noteworthy team news for as far as I can see. I do see these odds myself as way off, but at the same time I also realise the asian market is rarely wrong and the chances of me being wrong about this is far bigger compared to them being wrong about it. So a tricky situation betting wise and more than anything I see this match as a good test to where I am at handicapping wise. I took a bit extra on Stvv +0 @ 5.924 and have a total of 2 units at risk on all bets combined. I'm really curious how this match will play out and might opt out of my stakes or middle things up if possible live depending on how things go.
