May 10 Guard the Inside

"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." Proverbs 4:23

When talking about guarding our hearts, we're usually thinking about keeping the bad things out. We also want to keep the good things in, once we master that, temptations will often take care of themselves. Treasuring the wellspring that God has birthed in your heart will leave little room for those corruptions you once obsessed over.
