Friday Bomb: Tell it to Jesus first

Some people’s facebook timelines or whatsapp status are a horror to behold whenever they are passing through some ugly challenges.

You see posts like..

  • God where are you
  • This world is just a pot of beans
  • Why me?
  • i hate men
  • All men are dogs
  • See them, and they call themselves fellowship people, smh
  • After God, fear women
  • Trust no one

And many more..
We do this most times to court sympathy and for people to start showing concern.

Some are busy looking for who to share their problems with, as if sharing it solves it.

Did i say sharing your challenges with someone is bad? NO

Lets see some use cases.

  • Abraham was told his relations will die in a land that is filled with sin if he doesn’t pull them out, he started negotiating with God in prayer and didnt start looking for sympathizers.
  • Hezekiah was told to put his house in order and wait to die, he didn't go to twitter or facebook to tell the world how after all his work for God plus his tithes and offerings, he was told he’ll die like that. No, he turned and faced the wall.
  • Jacob didn't go about telling people how they shouldn’t marry from this tribe because he was made to serve 14yrs just to marry, instead he wrestled with God.

People used to say that

“Problems shared, is problem half solved.”

Not completely true for me, most times what you get is sympathy and who sympathy epp?
When you share your problems with Jesus, certainly you will get a solution.
Tell it to Jesus.
#PrayerWorks

Hear this:
Don’t let your first impulse on a matter be telling people about it first, turn to God first and it must end in congratulations.
