This American city has more billionaires than any other city in the world

Billionaires can choose to live anywhere they want. If Bezos or Musk have their way, in a decade or two, they could even opt to live in space.

In the meantime, while Earth bound, the chosen destination for billionaires, by number is New York. The Big Apple boasts 105 billionaires.

On a percentage bases, New York trails San Francisco, with 75 billionaires, by a wide margin. The population of New York is 8.6 million while San Francisco has 860,000 residents.

This gives the city a billioaires for every 11,600 people.

Silicon Valley also has the most billionaires still in their 30s.

All is not rosy for this class. For the second year in a row, the number of billionaires, globally, fell. Their worth also declined by 7% in 2018.
