The Experimental Life - by AJ Jacobs [Google Talks]
I started watching this talk given by AJ Jacobs at Google a while ago, and I completely forgot it was in watch later list.
AJ Jacobs is probably the ultimate self-experimenter. He's done a few interesting self-experiments and a couple of done ended up being documented in books (he wrote). One of these experiments was about reading all volumes of the Encyclopedia Britannica - which ended up being documented into The-Know-It-All, a book he released in 2004.
Another of his experiments was to live by the bible, literally. It was a one year experiment and it ended up in a book called The Year of Living Biblically, which was published in 2007.
Some of these and other insights from his experiments are presented by AJ himself in a humorous way, in the talk given at Google. So, if you're looking for a bit of insightful entertainment, I invite you to watch his talk by following the link below.
