Galka stole a crust of bread from a rook

in #birding5 years ago

The lady was walking in the park. Proud of such a confident. A rook landed on a grass next door. The lady felt as if she needed to go there too. Just need to move on the sidewalk.

Jackdaw lady is spectacular, not like some kind of rook there - ragged.

And suddenly the rook noticed a crust of white bread on the grass and a rook too. Each of them wanted to feast on, no one wanted to give in to the other. Rook important such, even more than a jackdaw sure of himself, but not agile. Rook slowly approached the bread, began to peck at it. Galka crept up from behind and in the last steps dashed towards the rook. He was frightened, the bread fell out of his beak. Galka at the moment grabbed the bread from the rook's beak and climbed onto the tree with him. Rook loudly indignant at the bully. Rook shouted, grumbled in a raspy voice, but what's the use of that, do not take the same bread from the jackdaw's hover in a tree. And while he flies up to her on a bitch, the jackdaw will have time to fly away, she is more agile.

A jackdaw with bread in its beak did not fly far away, but right there, nearby, teasing a rook, it flew up into a tree, and the rook remained on the grass.

The birds are so funny. When you give them bread, they immediately run away and even fly away. Only bold doves, they immediately pick up. I noticed that if jackdaws are near in a flock with pigeons, then they become much bolder.

Galka gently took the bread out of her beak, pressed her paws and began to peck. Bread, apparently, was already very dry. For a long time the jackdaw tried to cope with the bread, but did not release it from the paws. What else, because she took it away from the rook itself.

I managed to shoot a short video.
