The inglorious failure of my grand plan

As I told you yesterday, I am trying to catch a gang of young parrots, which I rashly let out of the cage to fly around my room. Today I decided to seek help from their parents. I thought that if I released their parents, the young parrots would return with them to the large parental cage.

I opened the cage and within five minutes the parrots-parents sat next to their children. I was delighted! I thought that now they would explain to their children what rules exist in our house and that everyone should spend the night in their nest. How naive I was!

When it got dark, I went into the room to check if my plan worked. Parrot parents were in their nest. But there are no young parrots anywhere! And then I understood my mistake. Instead of having an educational conversation with their children, adult parrots taught them to hide from me better than before! What cunning! Now I have to come up with a new plan ...

Now, now the parents did return, the kids are just juvenile delinquents. :-)

What about food, will that get them onto your hand then into the cage :)

They don't want to sit on my hand:( They suspect me in something...

They know what you are trying to do lol

Ha ha ha! I know this is a challenge for you, but it's a pretty funny story!

Real challenge! Me vs parrots:)))

Good heavens! That sounds like quite a challenge... I don't know much about how to lure birds into a space, aside from food. Good luck, I hope you manage to get them back where they belong!

=^..^=

I have another plan:)
