The western yellow wagtail (Motacilla flava)

Honestly, I do not understand why it is called "Western". But most likely because of her habitat. She lives not only in the west, it also nests in the east.
So, these bright birds appear somewhere in the beginning of May. And in their bright "sunny" plumage, they are very easy to find among the monotonous, drab gray and dull thickets and shores.

They walk around the shore and the flooded areas cheerfully and energetically with quick steps. They look under each blade of grass and a sprig in search of aquatic insects that make up its diet.

They are not particularly afraid of a peoples, but they still treat them incredulously, unlike her relative - the white wagtail.
