The Eurasian golden oriole (Oriolus oriolus) or simply golden oriole

This beauty prefers to live in mixed, deciduous, and pine forests. But provided that there are tall trees. On high trees, she constantly hides. Therefore, to meet her somewhere below 2 meters is an extraordinary rarity! And I managed it! I have been waiting for this for a long time.

This photo shows the contrast of colors. This is because the left is a cliff leading to the open bank and the river to the right.
And as you already guessed, this bird will not fly there. She sat on these bushes and looked for food. And of course she watched me :)

With regards to food. Orioles eat large hairy caterpillars that nobody else eats.
Encyclopedias write that they also eat fruits and berries. I did not see this, most likely they feed on them in the fall, but I did not see it because they fly away very early, at the end of July and the beginning of August they are no longer in our forests.
