The great tit (Parus major), juvenile.

Young titmouses, as you can see, do not have bright yellow plumage. It is gray, and only eventually turns into yellow. They are rather curious and love to explore the world around them. I witnessed how a parent taught four little chicks to get food, to catch insects. Little chicks followed the parent and occasionally scream made themselves felt.

The common redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus), juvenile.

Unlike Great Tits, the chicks of this bird are not so curious, rather timid. And at a young age, they already see the future bright red tail and black head.To my surprise, I have not seen large broods in these birds. Always only one chick.
