Celebrating Life & Another Trip Around the Sun: Reflections of my 21st year on Earth
I have so much to be thankful for today and always, but on this beautiful 12th day of May, I am so glad to be alive and celebrating my 22nd birthday.
Twenty-one was good to me- I met so many amazing humans and made countless memories. My life is filled to the brim with blessings and I'm counting each and every one of them today. I am blessed to be alive and well! Blessed to live in such a phenomenal area of the country. Blessed to have this platform as a place to express myself and my creative interests. Blessed to be surrounded by a tribe of forward-thinking, compassionate and inspiring individuals. I'll be going down the list today, thanking Gaia for all of it.
I'm doing what I can to learn from the mistakes I've made and move forward. In my experience, birthdays have been the best time for me to let go and move on. It is a great time to reflect on this journey. I want to take nothing for granted and always appreciate even the small but beautiful parts of life, and live healthier overall. I vow to be true to myself in the coming year and to not get distracted from my passions and soul path. Manifestation of the life we desire and deserve is a journey and unfoldment. It is the most fruitful expedition we can embark on. I'm at a good point on my path and am so grateful for the past that has brought me to this day. Slowly but surely I'm closing the gap between where I am and where I want to be.
Here are some photos from this day last year - my 21st birthday. I went with some dear friends including @alchemage, and my love @elamental, to the Toren Lounge and Gallery to see the works of visionary artist Emily Kell ~ the funky priestess of paint. I regret not taking photos of the lounge itself, as it was a beautiful sacred space filled with fluffy white rugs and otherworldly art on the walls. I'm so glad others were there to experience it with me. One of my favorite pieces was Emily's The Alchemist, which was displayed in the form of a tapestry.
The artwork of Emily Kell embraces mysticism, ancient cultures, and feminism. It is meditative and thought provoking, and as symbolic as it is aesthetic.
I'll be wearing hemp and Sinew Moon for the rest of forever. The quality of her garments are second to none!
Happy birthday. Love your hemp outfit
