A Birthday Wish To My Dearest Grandma

Celebrated grandma’s 80 years old birthday with family members coming together and had a lunch session with some of the delighting oriental cuisines. 80 years and counting, the time of being alive does matter as we will be having days that what we need something that could keep us accompanied.

Let’s say there are two scenario. If it is a person, then it would be tough for the person to commit the time and effort if the person has other commitments at the same time. On the other hand, if it is something that has no physical form like hobby, then it could be something that can accompany us for a long time. Hence, having habits formed with hobbies that we love to do at earlier stage of our life is definitely beneficial for future us. If not, it will be truly hard for us to get through the empty times that we may crave for attention while frustrated as we can’t get enough of it. The satisfaction shall come from doing the things we love and engage with people other than our own family. That would not only color up our life in ways that we may not expect, which could have us experience serendipity that we can’t get just by doing the usual things again with same people, same place and same methods. Hobbies will enable us to have goals that may not be achievable in a short amount of time due to different constraints but achievable in a longer stretch. This would provide us with an opportunity to fill up the time and get us work up.

I am happy to see both of my grandparents are still well and fit. Despite some inconvenience in excessive moving, they are still kicking ass in their form. Again, a very happy birthday to my beloved grandma.
