พอไม่สามารถเบิกถอนเงินจากกระเป๋าดิจิตัลได้ จนเกิดทำให้ QuadrigaCX ตลาดซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนเหรียญดิจิตัล cryptocurrency ขาดสภาพคล่องและทางผู้บริหารของบริษัทฯ ต้องไปร้องต่อศาลเพื่อดำเนินการทำเรื่องล้มละลาย ทางศาลเองได้มีการแต่งตั้งบริษัทผู้ตรวจสอบบัญชี 1 ใน 4 รายใหญ่ของโลกอย่าง Ernst & Young (EY) เข้าทำการตรวจสอบบัญชีทรัพย์สินเพื่อดำเนินการประกอบการพิจารณาคดี

ล่าสุดทาง Ernst & Young (EY) ได้เปิดเผยข้อมูลการตรวจสอบทรัพย์สินและหนี้สินของ QuadrigaCX ต่อสาธารณะ โดยรายการทรัพย์สินและหนี้สินได้ถูกแบ่งเป็นตามแหล่งที่มาจาก 3 บริษัทในเครือของ QuadrigaCX ซึ่งรายการทรัพย์สินและหนี้สินถูกกระจายไปยัง 3 บริษัทย่อยคือ 0984750 B.C. LTD. (the “Quadriga Estate”), Quadriga Fintech Solutions และ Whiteside Capital Corporation โดยมีรายการทรัพย์สินรวมมูลค่า 20.8 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ และรายการหนี้สินจำนวน 160 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ ณ วันที่ 12 เมษายน 2019
ส่วนทาง QuadrigaCX ได้ยื่นเรื่องล้มละลายเมื่อต้นเดือนเมษายน 2019 และต่อมาถูกตัดสินให้ล้มละลายโดยศาล Nova Scotia Supreme Court Justice Michael Wood ซึ่งการดำเนินการยื่นเรื่องล้มละลายเพื่อที่จะดำเนินการขายทรัพย์สินเพื่อทำการชำระหนี้สิน และหยุดค่าใช้จ่ายต่างๆในการบริหารจัดการในการดำเนินการตลาดซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนเหรียญดิจิตัล QuardigaCX
นอกจากนี้ทาง Ernst & Young (EY) เคยได้ทำการรายงานว่ามีที่อยู่ของกระเป๋าดิจิตัลที่ใช้เก็บ Bitcoin (BTC) ที่ใช้อยู่เป็นประจำจำนวน 6 กระเป๋า และหนึ่งในนั้นมีการเก็บ Bitcoin (BTC) มูลค่าประมาณ 500000 เหรียญสหรัฐที่ไม่มีการฝากเข้ามาตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน 2018 ขั้นตอนต่อไปก็คงจะเป็นการขายทรัพย์สินและชำระคืนต่อเจ้าหนี้ ถ้าไม่พอก็คงต้องไปเรียกร้องจากที่ที่ทำการค้ำประกันตลาดซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนเหรียญดิจิตัล QuardigaCX กันต่อไป
Ernst & Young (EY) has published a trustee’s preliminary report revealing that QuadrigaCX has around $20.8 million in assets, and around $160 million in liabilities as of April 12, 2019.
