Is XRP a security!? And what does that mean!?
We need to understand that a security has the legal status of a stock,
so if you say Ripple is a company them XRP is consider a stock...
So why isn´t XRP considered a security and by that has the obligation to pay dividends...
Well my friend Ripple was very smart...
They made a company using money that was invested in XRP by investor, but have no obligation with them saying that XRP is a currency... Well that is a big fucken scam...
Why is XRP a security?
1- They raised money as a company to finance their intentions...
2- They are developing and selling tecnologie they created with money they gathered from investors
3- They are using locked tokens (XRP) to continue to finance Ripple...
4- Their main focus was not to develop the token XRP but to sell the tecnologie...
So as you can see we have many problems here when saying that XRP is a currency...
Well you would have to be corrupt or a asshole to say that XRP is a currency...
So what should we do with that useless coin...
Well my friend, buy a lot of it...Cause unless the USA regulators are corrupt, they will consider XRP a security...And in that case with the parterneships and money Ripple made selling tecnologie...We are talking of a maybe trillion dollar company...
Interesting thoughts. But if that's the reasoning, then most ICO tokens will be considered to be securities, no?
the Sec said the avaluation on that matter depended on decentralization of what is in cause. So it seems that now the centralization of a token will influence the decision... The more centralized the coin is the bigger the chance of being a security... XRP is more centralized than the Fed...duarte
