It’s MANA Time… Checking In On Decentraland

Decentraland is one of my favorite crypto projects. It’s where virtual reality meets the blockchain.

For those unfamiliar Decentraland is a virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Users can create, experience, and monetize their content and applications.

I last wrote about it a month ago. Read on for the latest below.

 

Well, the biggest news has to be the LAND auction.

The LAND auction will last for up to two weeks, taking the format of a Dutch auction, in which all available parcels will be set at the same starting price. Over the course of the auction, this price will gradually decrease.

It starts 12/10 at 8am.

Get your MANA ready.

The other piece of good news is that it was voted yes to remove MANA’s 8% annual inflation rate.

And it looks like MANA could soon be added to Coinbase Pro.

I hope to get a parcel or two in the auction.
