Its been almost completed 10 days in this year. And you people might be confused to hear this again. Bear me on that delay because I have been on vacation for two weeks. I came back this monday and settled for the 4 days. May be you people know it will take atleast four days to settle down after the vacation. Any way that's a different story, Let's dig into our title.

I can understand people are disappointed with the way that crypto has performed in 2018. How we have to see this downfall?

Well if we are driving in a freeway we tend to see some flyovers and underpasses. We also enjoy those since they seems to be some thing different in a boring freeway. When we go upward on a flyover we obviously have to come down at some point then only balancing will happen. After that we might see some flat drive and in the process we can cross underpass then some flat drive and flyover. This is how our journey will be till we reach our destination.

Cryptocurrency Journey is also no different from the above. There will be ups and downs in every journey. Ultimately it is moving forward and finding its path.

Let's look into the charts how it has travelled since 2013.

If we see the above image at the start of 2013 bitcoin price was around 13 dollars. By end of 2013 it has reached to whooping 813 dollars. Obviously after this exponential run it has taken the opposite route to balance the things and it has reached to 314 dollars by end of 2014. A strong consolidation happened in 2015 which has ended it journey at 427 dollars in that year. 2016 has been a smooth journey for cryptocurrencies and it has closed that year at 995 dollars.

For easier view I have divided the charts in to two parts. In the below chart we can see the path of 2017 and 2018.

2017 has been an excellent year for cryptocurrencies and it has recorded all time highs during that year. At the end of that year bitcoin is at around 13445 dollars. From the start of 2018 cryptocurrencies have become nightmares for a majority percentage of audience and almost all the people have seen whooping negative returns. Bitcoin has closed the year at 3747 dollars.

I have added a prediction for 2019 in continuation comparing to 2015. Well it might end up at around 5550 dollars by end of this year. Even though it is a prediction we have to understand that it won't be a straight move to 5550 dollars but it will continue to have some ups and downs through out the year. Overall we have to assume that it will be an year of crypto adoption. Those who will acquire potential ones and hold they might see some good returns over the coming years.
