Tom Lee Expects Bitcoin to Rally Ahead Of and Following Concensus Conference
In his latest research, Tom Lee expects this year’s Consensus rally to be larger than prior years. The event may draw up to 7,000 people vs about 2,750 last year. Last time attendance doubled, bitcoin rose 69% during the conference and 138% in the months after.
Coincidence or correlation? Given we are trading just below $9,400 and just under half of all time highs, I doubt the move would be as large as those he cited. Still it times well with the possible end of a correction we just had and with some positive news out of the conference, bitcoin and alts could be poised for a bit of a rally.
