Cryptocurrency wallet: Opera insists

Last month, Opera introduced the integration of a cryptocurrency wallet into its #mobile #browser. In this case, the test (private beta) concerns Opera for #Android and #Ethereum (Ether).

This Crypto Wallet supports Ethereum Web3 API and offers compatibility with the latest version of the Ethereum platform for the support of decentralized applications of #EthereumApps.

Now, Opera announces its decision to open its computer-based browser to its mobile #cryptocurrency #wallet.

"By adding a cryptocurrency wallet directly into the browser, we've eliminated the need for complex extensions or separate applications," writes Charles Hamel, Opera Crypto's Product Manager. The opening to the browser on computer is presented as "the second step of Opera towards the generalization of cryptocurrency and Web 3.0."

As it stands, it will allow users of #Opera #browser on computer to access the wallet of cryptocurrencies present on their mobile browser Opera for Android.

The procedure will involve scanning a QR code on the Opera browser on a computer. The transactions can be signed with the reading of fingerprints on smartphone where the control keys of funds and assets are stored.
