Spent My Afternoon Watching Bitcoin Documentaries
I had a few hours to spare this afternoon and without my computer on hand and not a huge fan of television I had to think of something to keep me busy!
I decided to take the iPad and watch some Bitcoin documentaries! I watched two documentaries, which I believe are some of the better documentaries out there on bitcoin.
Both of the documents discussed that no one truly knows who Satoshi is or if they did, they did not divulge this information. Also, Mt. Gox was mentioned multiple times in each documentary.
The Best Documentary Ever - The Bitcoin Phenomenon
This documentary had some early guys in Bitcoin plus a few business owners. Erik Voorhees and Gavin Andresen were the two major guys they focused on with this documentary. Gavin talked about the early days of development including talking with satoshi. Gavin said the last time he spoke to Satoshi was right before he talked with the CIA about Bitcoin. Erik didn’t seem so sure that ultimately Bitcoin would win out but he said if it was still here in the future, the world would be very different.
Magic Money: The Bitcoin Revolution
This documentary featured some powerful guys in the Bitcoin space. Roger Ver was the main guy in this video and his title was “Bitcoin Entrepreneur”. Now I am not so sure he would call himself that as “Bitcoin Cash Entrepreneur” would be more appropriate. This was the first time I heard Trace Meyer speak in depth about Bitcoin and I was very impressed by what he knew. Tone Vays has said some negative things about Steem in the past, but he sure knows his stuff when it comes to bitcoin.
This documentary focused on places all over the world using Bitcoin as a medium of exchange and highlighted the benefits of Bitcoin being both a currency and a payment system.

Overall, both of the documentaries were very good, but if I had to choose which one I liked better I would say “The Best Documentary Ever - The Bitcoin Phenomenon” would get my vote!
Il have to give those a watch at some point, they sound interesting.
Though "the best documentary ever" Sounds like they choose that part if the title with some tongue-in-cheek... that or they were arrogant as he'll 😂
Yeah the editing wasn’t as good as the other documentary but the content and speakers were better in my opinion!

I have never seen either of them, but now I kind of want to. Are they available to watch for free somewhere, or are they on a streaming service?
Both are available on YouTube! You most likely are aware of the information already, but I found both of them useful!

Oh, that's great! It's nice to put on a documentary every once in a while, even if most of the information is knowledge you already for the most part had. And you never know if you end up learning something new from it!
That is very true! I would much rather watch a documentary than most of the other trash on tv! haha
