SpringRole: A platform to verify your skill mastery

Jobs have become very competitive and a degree is no longer enough to stand out. We have to prove ourselves more valuable to the employer and many employers suggest the best way is to learn technological tools. The most common tools that people learn are part of the Microsoft Suite but there are no extra points in knowing what everyone else is also good at.

The best way to stand out is by learning advanced software that are popular in your profession. Even if the entry position does not need the software, it shows the employer that you are ready for the future promotions and are a good fit for the company's needs. There are two problems now. People have learned that this is a good way to stand out and lie about their skills and even if the people really do know the tool it is expensive to prove it. To prove that you know the tool, you have to go get a certificate as evidence. There are so many tutorials on YouTube for at least 90% of the tools and that means certification institutes are useless beside offering a paper that is evidence of your knowledge. This is a waste of money.

How can we get rid of useless certifiers?

The only thing that certifiers do is show that we do know the tool. Instead of a certifier, SpringRole lets any person who is an expert of the tool endorse us for that tool. Because of SpringRole, we don't need to pay money to an institute and can still have evidence that we are good at a tool.

SpringRole is a verification system where we make a work profile. We can get our work profile verified to give proof to employers that we have not lied about anything in our job application. One of the other things SpringRole does is letting people enforse skills. When a person who excels at a skill endorses you, you stand out on that skill. The other thing is that this is a verification that you have not lied about being good at it. Instead of a certifier charging you money for a paper that proves your skill expertise, an endorsement from someone who excels at the skill is your new way of giving proof that you have learned and mastered a skill or tool.

One more benefit of this is that the people who lie about mastering a skill won’t be get the endorsements. The system will automatically weed out the people who have lied on their profile.
