    Read an interesting piece not so long ago that called BS on the idea that "the Economy" was doing well.

    "The ECONOMY isn't what's doing well; predatory CAPITALISM is what's doing well."

    The latest ALICE report suggests that 51 million US households can no longer afford the very basics of living; that's households, not people. It's 43% of the population.

    As long as more people are getting in to debt and recession continues the more the big lenders will benefit. It's a vicious circle but nobody really has a solution do they? Sure we can place value on Bitcoin and Precious Metals and aquire some to hedge against inflation and Q.E. It might be a smart thing to do but it's not a solution to the problem.

    Then the country is in a big problem because by spending such huge amount of money only to crest a little jobs compare to the money spent. It would have make economic sense to distribute that money to the citizens @stephenkendal
