John McAfee is right about this. Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies represent a major shift in our commerce can be conducted. The progress of Cryptocurrencies cannot be stopped any more than a third party can stop two individuals from exchanging goods and paying for that with blockchain, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

This scares governments quite a bit. They have long controlled the currencies of their respective countries. If you can control the money, you control other areas. Now with Cryptocurrencies available, people can exchange goods and services without permission. You don't have to worry about your credit card being denied. You don't have to worry about charge-backs, as a merchant.

Cryptocurrencies are seeing an uptick in value as this is being posted. Is it going to last? I wish I knew. I certainly can't make any predictions or give any financial advice. Seek out the advice from others who have studied this extensively and know much more about it than me.

However, I can say that John McAfee in saying that you can't stop things like Bitcoin. Get education about this. Learn about how you can use it and understand the pros and cons of using it.

Hi @terrybrock thanks for that post. The government has to change and they might loose some power. But human will get more freedom - at least for a while.
