One of the few issues regarding adoption of crypto is security, retrieval of data and misplaced keys. In as much as we all want to be engrossed in mass adoption hype and jimble, we cannot overemphasize that the more mass adoption we have, the worse crypto will become. In terms of
- Noob investors
- Ignorant people
- Mistakes in keeping keys
- Security
- Wrong transactions
These things then raise a strong argument against crypto.
An average Joe with 20m usd can easily make a mistake and send his 20 m usd in btc to a wrong address. This kind of damage might be colossal. This means we may not be ready if we can't find a way to prevent loss of money and also introduce insurance which can guarantee investors fund.
I really hope this can be solved in the nearest future.
