Is it necessary to repeat announcing what you have already done?
Bittrex has recently announced the delisting of a few coins. It is the case of Bitshares (BTS), Bitcoin Gold (BTG) and Bitcoin Private (BTCP).
While I can understand the logics of the announcement for Bitcoin Gold (BTG) and Bitcoin Private (BTCP), BTG has suffered one of the largest 51% attack in the history of the Crypto Market, I really feel as it has a been a "bad faith" move including BITSHARES in the announcement.
Specially because BITSHARES was already delisted from BITTREX on 2017 and, actually there is no trading pair with it.
It is clearly pointing to a self-defense behaviour in order to create bad press against the Decentralized EXCHANGES, which, in my opinion is where all the crypto market should be played, with no third parties involved.
I am going to keep using those manipulative Exchanges but I have no doubt that...
...DEX (Decentralized EXCHANGES) are the future
Stop manipulation.

I have a few BTS locked in Bittrex. I committed the wrong movement of leaving the around 7 BTS. After they shut down trading pairs, I have been unable to withdraw them. Lost forever, but lesson learned.

@toofasteddie, thank you for the information. I am almost sure you are right: Bittrex and all those crypto exchanges understand that one day DEX will displace them. So, they try to hinder the further advance of DEX.
Btw, have you ever used Bitshares? The only one DEX I have ever used is Waves Paltforom.
Sure! Bitshares is the oldest DEX together with openledger ! It is safe.
@toofasteddie, thank you for answering! I am glad that I started following you. I am an Actifitter and financial analyst (FX market and crypto). I've been trading FX for more than 12 years. So, I see that you are an Actifitter and crypto market analyst as well. So, I find you information (content on #Steemit) useful.
Thank you and have a good night!
Waves is great as an exchange.

@javirid, have you ever use it?

Yes. I am using Waves quite a lot lately. Except a problem with some orders which needed to be set as ending before 30 days, everything works well.
Bitshares, OpenLedger or CryptoBridge are very similar to the Waves DEX, also.

Can't wait for that moment when DEX are adopted on a global scale
Well put, it's kind of ridiculous isn't it? Bad move on their part ditching BitShares anyway, it's a damn good coin.
