It’s a big game, the first AAA title ‘battle royale’ to come along after fortnite that’s not fortnite, I mean we can say that right? Is fortnite still a AAA product if it’s just the engine of the company that got them to where they are? — I mean trayarch have their own engine too so it’s a battle of the engines right?
i’m really looking forward to the release — nothing better than one of your favourite streamers getting to the play the games they love and the excitement and the hype that goes along with that — I know a lot of people will be ‘competing’ for the ‘eyeballs’ tonight and the ‘legacy’ of their network will be reflected tonight.
I’ll get a screenshot of their viewers from tonight/tomorrow so you can see the hype I’m on about and then we can run through some potential numbers of what that kind of impact brings.
I bet they have engineers around the clock for games like this, not only do you have to maintain servers you have to feedback with other people in the term for code changes, pushing patches, server overwhelming, script kiddies and all the other stuff that makes running anything online difficult! :)
