What Happened on the Bitpie Launch Event???

Bitpie Launch Event in Japan successfully ended on September 8.

The event specially invited more than ten heavyweight guests from partners, investors, media, Japanese KOL in digital currency field, Bitpiers in Japan and blockchain industry investors. Through the perspective of the Bitpie and interpretation of the guests, the Japanese users can better understand the development status of the global blockchain and look forward to the future of cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency wallet will be the browser of blockchain

Cryptocurrency wallet must be easy to use based on security.
As the blockchain technology develops rapidly, the Dapp era has arrived. To take on the role of the “browser” of the blockchain world, cryptocurrency wallet must support multi blockchains in the Dapp era.
The cryptocurrency wallet needs to provide a platform where the third parties engage so to make it convenient for projects or the third parties to provide payment service to the users.

BITHD will support multi-signature function

BITHD is based on Trezor open source structure. There are exclusive communication protocol and out-of-order PIN code to avoid the assets loss due to the device loss.
All the procedures from generating private keys to executing signature are done without connecting to the internet, which ensure the absolute security to the assets.
The new version of BITHD supports multisig function. Based on the invitation mechanism, one can initiate multi signatures and manage them flexibly.

On the Bitpie Launch Event, KOLs in Japanese blockchain circle were also invited to share their opinions on blockchains.

The status quo and future of cryptocurrency payment in Japan

Currently the cryptocurrency payment is in its infancy. To make it popular, we should start from promoting non-cash services.

Bitdays’s Mitsuyakouhei: Actually only some shops in the major cities in Japan support cryptocurrency payment.

Okadasaki: I use cash for payments now. If it is possible, I wish there won’t be cash payment in the future.

Ameyumi: I have used cryptocurrency payment. Actually the shop assistants themselves are not so familiar with cryptocurrency payment procedures. Besides, under the current condition, we should on the one hand help general people get used to non-cash transactions, on the other hand develop new system to increase the speed of transactions, the promotion of which is related to the non-cash level of countries.

Kazuto: The conditions are varied among countries. Non-cash payment can be used in some countries. I wish in these countries the transactions of cryptocurrency payment will be finished successfully quickly just like that of SUICA.

The status quo of Japanese blockchain services

Blockchain business will be more and more innovative and more and more people will invest in this business in the future. So there will be a demand for a large amount of developers in the future.

Kamiyatomoai: The current blockchain industry is like the then phone industry — more and more people want to get in.

Arata: Good developers are needed in the blockchain field in the future. Many developers now may think that I have no development experience in this field or it doesn’t matter if I don’t do development in this field. I don’t know whether these opinions are right or not. I just think the blockchain will gain much attention of the public.

Fukurou: I wonder what do you think about how many people have engaged in the blockchain. As far as I know, the number may be smaller in Tokyo and larger in Kansai.
