Midnight thoughts

So it's 11:55pm and I just finished finalising details for our event on the 8th of September 2018

In January, I announced at our teammalaysia gathering that we were going to run it as a steemit only event for steemians. However due to lack of funds and to run it at such a magnitude we decided to scale it down.

There were big plans however it started to change as myself, @danieldoughty and @veenang paid a visit to the Ministry of Education and Innovation. Why it had change? Well.. The main reason is that we wanted to tackle a more generic topic such as What is a blockchain and how does it impact today's average person. Not only in the standpoint of personal, but for business too. What is the Malaysian govt views on this ? Is it an opportunity or is it just an outright illegal business.

So we would be announcing Borneo Blockchain Summit in the next 24 hours. We managed to get the Ministry involved and to set the tone of the entire conference. We also got one of Malaysia 's most recognize blockchain developer and consultant to come and join us.

Among the list of speakers, we also have 2 exchanges who will be embedding Steem and Sbd wallets into their exchanges to enable hassle free conversions to fiat and Crypto.

Im sure its going to be a fun and chilled out event. It's surely will be a blast to network with liked minded people.
