Blockchain is ending poverty. Wanna be part of it, or wanna keep chasing the dinosaur government round?
I get a little snarky about this. It's 'cause I just don't understand it. I know so many Liberals - many of whom would give their left arm for Universal Basic Income. They would shit their pants if there was a governmental proposal for it. They would spend a whole bunch of time going to call centers and telling people to support it. And they would be allllllll over facebook sharing memes and asking people to support it, and fighting with people who don't.

I post on facebook like "Hey listen, here's an answer! Basic Income! It's right here!" 👈👈👈
And they literally keep scrolling. No questions. No likes. They don't sign up for the FREE coin.....
It's mind boggling.
What ARE they thinking?
Some of these Liberals I know- their whole lives are dedicated to getting the government to satisfy their wishes.
And they don't sign up for a free Basic Income coin.
In fact, they don't put one iota of energy into finding out what the blockchain is. I say, "Hey, we're like, supporting people in Uganda with a dollar a day and they can post on Steemit and make enough money to live now." And they don't even look or pay it any notice.
I can't even imagine or fathom it.
They'll put their energy into studying the branches of government and the bills and the laws and they won't put an iota of energy into something that's already solving their biggest gripes.

Sadly some folks are attached to and invested in being discontent or victims. 😕 you can give them real solutions all day, but they can’t see their way out because their life lense is clouded, and so they ignore or give you excuses why you can save them or fix the problems they champion.

I laugh now at how shallow people on Facebook are and how much better Steemit is - and I even earn a few dollars as a bonus..
People don't realize that the system is broken beyond repair so they keep trying to fix it but most will come around at some point. Plus eveyone is too caught up in this false right vs left thing when the reality is authorities vs everyone else.
You are right about this site being a new path forward. It is just a matter of getting people to see it. I try to sell the idea when I can. When I see a friend or family member using facebook, I tell them that they can earn for doing the same thing here. When I see some YouTuber talk about censorship, I comnent about how they would have far more freedom here. It will grow as long as we keep talking about it.
