QuarkChain project is a highly scalable, decentralized, secure blocking system using Sharding technology, whose goal is to achieve 1 million transactions per second (TPS).QuarkChain uses fragmentation to provide a high-performance peer-to-peer transaction system. The system consists of two main layers - the level of fragmentation, which enables the system to obtain high throughput due to efficient data distribution and the root layer, intended to confirm the blocks of the first. QuarkChain wants to create a compromise solution between three positions of the blockade: decentralization, security, and scalability. This solution will allow the blockchain to rise to a new level and even the entire crypto-currency world. If to say in simple words, then QuarkChain sets itself to conduct a huge number of transactions per second, many times more than it was before. It will, without doubt, allow the crypto-currency market to grow faster, which many so want.

The main features of the ICO QuarkChain project:

• Third-party blockers or cross-sections will be connected to the rootchain, only as layers of shards. All cross-transactions can be performed at any time and confirmed within a few minutes. For the built-in Cross-shard, the speed will increase as the number of shards increases in the network.

• In QuarkChain, only 1 account will be provided. All crypto-transitions and other actions will be carried out by managing only 1 smart contract or purse. You can manage all addresses with a private key to all addresses in shards.

• All smart contracts will be supported on the Ethereum platform using the processing power of the EVM machine. In the future, this will allow adapting the scalability due to the existence of working applications dApps.

• There will be a mining for QuarkChain, but for small miners, there will be a special interaction platform that will differ from the work of the largest data centers. In general, the requirements for the decentralization of crypto-active will be increased.

• To build a peer-to-peer network that prevents malicious attacks, traditional blocking technologies require each node to validate all blocks and cancel invalid blocks. In the QuarkChain, the node for validation and root block and all shards is called a super-full node. The developers of QuarkChain provided for a potential scenario of events in which large players will take over a large number of network capacities, and eventually will be able to centralize it. Therefore, it was decided to make it possible to create clusters of individual small nodes. Each node in the cluster verifies a subset of the chains. Once all these checks are covered by all the blockrooms, the validation process is completed. If one part of the cluster fails, its remaining constituent elements are in force to complete the validation process without a lost node. 


For transactions on the Quarckchain network, a nominal transaction commission will be required, which will be paid using the QKC's own token. QKC will also be used as a reward for members of the community who contribute to the system. The tokens will be ERC20 tokens during the ICO phase and will be replaced when the primary network is launched in the fourth quarter of 2018. A user can have transaction data on several data in the QuarkChain ecosystem. Each user will have a default primary account address, and the secondary account manages several addresses in other data. A clever wallet will simplify the management of accounts when using multiple addresses, so the user does not need to know about the basic transactions with crosstalk. The first version of Smart Wallet is planned to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2018 along with their main network.

I've recently got to know about this @QuarkChain and I think it's an interesting project. Marrying decentralization, security, and scalabilit is something that's currently nagging issue and if the project can deliver on this I believe QuarkChain will really grow big.
