Steemhunt lock up, disappointment or a clever move

Before I begin, I wanna say a big congratulations to the steemhunt team for pulling off the first successful IEO on Steem and being one of the first to Ken's on the Steem blockchain to launch.

We do not want to lose you, @steemitblog and @steemitdev, let's not lose the steemhunt team due to delays in SMTs.

We are still waiting for lite SMTs, which y'all said was supposed to be quicker to launch!

Anyway, the steemhunt team have officially launched their token, which will be listed on daybit exchange on the 15th of April.

One question which had been moving underground for long was , "how does the team intend to distribute the bounty token".

We must remember that it is because we as a people contributed and voted and posted, that's what gave steemhunt token value, without us, there would he no steemhunt.

So we are very much investors in this space. We wasted our time, mobile data and strength on the hopes that we would receive tokens as at when due.

The steemhunt team made a post today, detailing how the steemhunt token from the bounty campaign would be shared.

Every day over the next 13 weeks, 1/91 of your total tokens will be invested and you can then transfer it to your Eth address, from which you can then move to a supported exchange.

Now it is not my place to dictate if this approach is good or not, but intially I was against it.

Why limit the people using your token? We contributed to the growth of the project over the years, but the more I look at it, the more ingenious it becomes.

To protect the value of the token, they had no other choice than to place so many locks on the tokens.

Over the next 91 days, we'll see how things pan out.
