Having solved the difficulty of DApp landing, Hero Node will take the blockchain into the next decade.
The world’s largest financial technology industry summit, Lendlt USA 2018, was held at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco. Hero Node was invited to this conference. Mason.Z, co-founder of Hero Node, introduced the Hero Node project to the audiences on behalf of the team.

Hello everyone, I’m Mason from the Hero Node team. Today, I’m honored to represent our team to introduce our project to you. Hero Node aims to enable ordinary developers to develop DApps quickly. We provide public-chain integration and distributed storage services. On this foundation, we build a fully decentralized node network and create a complete DApp ecosystem.
There is an old saying in China: “Domains under heaven, after a long period of division, tend to unite; after a long period of union, tend to divide. ” This rule applies not only to Chinese history, but also to the development of technology. The past decade is the era of cloud computing and big data. With the development of blockchain technology, we believe that decentralization is the future.
Centralization and decentralization
What is the difference between centralization and decentralization?
Kevin Kelly once pointed that when adaptability is required, decentralized individual service is what you need. Here, the conceptual features and advantages are plain to see.
Everything develops in a circle, such as the four seasons of a year, the history, and so does the Internet.
The Internet has undergone in turn a process of centralization, decentralization, and centralization again. At present, we are in the era of centralized cloud computing. While strong centralized technologies do provide some convenience, the drawbacks are becoming more and more obvious. For example, when we use various if services, our personal data is all stored on the cloud. Once a leak occurs, it will cause very serious problems.
Last year, both Google’s search service and Apple’s iCloud service had suffered accidents of unavailable service for dozens of hours; recently, tens of thousands Facebook users have experienced the data leak, all of which prove that centralization has some un-ignorable disadvantages.
If you simply believe that improving the security measures of centralization can prevent information from leakage, then how do you explain that technological giants such as Google and Apple, who spend a great deal of human and material resources every year for centralized cloud services maintenance, have still undergone so many breakdowns?
Decentralized fog computing service
When decentralized fog computing services are used, traditional centralized collections will be replaced by our node network scattering in various places. The dispersion determines that our services will not stop just because of certain servers’ breakdowns.
Before the blockchain technology was born, fog computing is just a framework for problems solving with no practical application. However, the birth of blockchain has made it possible for such strategic landing of centralization.
Based on this, I believe that the next decade will be the era of decentralized fog computing service.
In blockchain technology, the traditional technology architecture will be overturned and replaced by DApp technology. DApp is a complete set of technologies from back-end data transmission to front-end APP.
The ideal envision is tempting, however, the reality is rather brutal.
Currently, DApp is still in an early stage where there are many problems such as imperfect infrastructure, lack of industrial ecosystem, developer-unfriendly procedure, etc. Under such circumstances, Hero Node came into being. We hope that by this project, we can create a perfect DApp ecosystem, and promote the development of blockchain, so that developers and users can truly enjoy the beauty of DApp technology.
What does Hero Node do
Hero Node builds the DApp ecosystem mainly from the following three aspects: infrastructure, convenience for developers and productized solutions.
1）Infrustructure
In terms of infrastructure, Hero Node mainly contains two aspects
- Public chain integration and intelligent contract selection.
First, Hero Node integrates many well-known public-chain services such as BTC, ETH, and QTUM, and incorporate more public blockchain services into the development-supporting schedule. Beside that, Hero Node can help developers choose the right intelligent protocols. It also supports cross-public-chain development, maximizes and utilizes the advantages of each public-chain service.
- IPFS-based file storage service.
It has to be admitted that the IPFS (InterPlanetary file system) is a great innovation, but the IPFS service also has problems such as service instability and slow access. Based on the IPFS, we add many new functions, including unique consensus mechanism and a distributive incentive mechanism. Also, the nodes that run the Hero protocol build up the Hero network, which can greatly improve the user experience in the storage service.
2）Convenience for developers
For developers, Hero Node helps them to develop more easily.
- Developers-friendly
We unified the underlying services of each blockchain. Unlike BTC and ETH, we greatly reduces the difficulty of blockchain projects development by using the high-level languages. In addition, the function of building a development environment by one simple click allows developers to no longer worry about setting up the environment.
- No need to purchase services
Thanks to the great technological innovations such as blockchain, developers do not need to spend a lot of money to purchase storage services, CDN services, bandwidth services, computing resources, etc.
- Dfaas Service Simplification
As technology developers, we are fully aware that ordinary developers often do some repetitive work during development. Therefore, Hero Node provides dFAAS services, which are some common basic services, such as: user account creating, authorization, transaction, etc. Developers can directly access the dFAAS service we provide through the contract address, avoid repetitive, low-level work and focus on the most valuable development process.
3）Productized solutions
Hero Node provides a mature cross-platform solution, namely, Hero Mobile, in the productization section. Developers only need to write once, and they can get both iOS and Android apps, which can also be extended to the website.
What’s more, for iOS and Android apps, the apps developed by Hero Mobile have native controls, from which the user can gain great experience.
In conclusion, Hero Node provides a complete solution set — the only completely decentralized solutions so far, and builds the DApp ecosystem at the same time.
And I should also add that, we will provide the first DApp store on the market, just like the App Store and the Play Store, where ordinary users can choose the products they want. This is the last piece of the whole jigsaw puzzle of the project.
Because of the whole set of solutions provided by Hero Node, the DApp store will not be just an ordinary distribution channel, but a product service with the consistent user experience, where developers can also display their best works.

From the beginning of the year, all blockchian practitioners have experienced a downturn in digital currency. The market, with a continuing dropping curve that bummed those who expect a “bottom out”，has completely entered a “bear market”. It does not have to be a bad thing that the market is not very welcoming. Actually, it is a process of filtering in which the Air coin project will be knocked out, and the survivors will only be the reliable ones.
The fire is the test of gold; adversity, of strong man, in this case, strong project.
We have great faith in Hero Node. After all, in the world of blockchain there is an unwavering belief that “the blockchain will finally dominate the next decade”.
