Newsbtc, citing a survey by Monica Eaton-Cardone- an esteemed figure in the fintech industry- reported that the adoption of blockchain technology in the retail sector will swell from the current market value of $80 million to $2.3 billion by 2023.
About 78% of retailers will embrace blockchain technology in the next five years, according to the survey.
