Personal data is one of the drivers of the advancement in technology as this data is used in many ways to provide services that could satisfy the need of the teeming population. So many companies worldwide are in dire need of personal data of individuals to be able to understand how well they can be serviced. It is also with personal data that companies are able to provide innovative products that gain acceptance by the population. Opiria platform and PDATA are providing a decentralised ecosystem where personal data can be traded safely and transparently for the advancement of user friendly products and satisfying services.

THE CHALLENGES
Most of the time, consumers personal data are collected without their notice and this violates the data privacy of a consumer. A good number of data brokers meddle in consumer data while some others steal theseb data, package and resell it as a commodity to companies. Because this is done in secret, the data owners are not rewarded or compensated for the use of their personal data.
This meddling in the personal data of consumers has awakened some consumers who along the line has taken some measures to protect their data. The wily data brokers still have counter measures they can use to obtain personal data. The problems make the current centralised system unable to protect consumers personal data, opaque and uncontrollable leading to companies inability to obtain quality data in order to meet their market research requirements.

OPIRIA PLATFORM SOLUTIONS
Opiria is harnessing the benefits provided by the cryptocurrency decentralised ecosystem based on the blockchain technology to proffer a solution that is thoroughly transparent and secure. This will in turn provide a marketplace that ensures that consumers have control over their choice of whom they wish to share some specific personal data with. The system will also enable the consumers to get appropriate compensation for the data they choose to share. The platform will eliminate middlemen from the data sharing chain creating a direct contact between consumers and the data hungry companies.

HOW IT WORKS
Opiria is a web-based market research platform which will give companies the ability to see in real-time what consumers desire in other to provide suiting products and services for them. Consumers will become members of the platform by downloading the Opiria App and registering some personal information on the platform. Through the permission of the consumers companies can access these information for their use. These personal data can be traded for PDATA token.

TOKEN INFORMATION
PDATA token is the utility token of the Opiria platform. This means that all companies will use PDATA to buy personal data from consumers while consumers will earn PDATA for participating in surveys and selling their data. A total of about 720 million PDATA tokens will be created. One PDATA token will be equivalent to 0.1 USD. During private sale the accepted currencies are ETH, BTC and XRP. All BTC and XRP participants will need to provide an ETH wallet address to receive the PDATA tokens.
