QuarkChain Has Strengths Beyond 100,000 TPS (TECTUS Analysis)
QuarkChain TL;DR
QuarkChain is a high tps blockchain project that is aiming to become the leader in the niche by executing over 100,000 transactions per second.

QuarkChain is all about high transaction speeds that dwarf those employed by most major blockchains including Ethereum and Bitcoin. QuarkChain is looking to execute over 100,000 tps by the fourth quarter of 2018 when mainnet launches.
Ethereum can currently only execute up to 10 tps while QuarkChain testnet can currently operate at over 2000 tps.
QuarkChain implements a multi-chain system for scalability that uses a root chain for confirmation of all transactions and shard chains for breaking up those transactions into smaller groups.
The shards act as the digital ledger, recording each transaction to their own chain and each of these transactions will ultimately be confirmed by the root chain. The ability to integrate shards with the root chain creates an ecosystem where each DApp has their own shard chain thus eliminating strain on one main chain.
QuarkChain technology is smart contract capable and accepts Solidity language (Ethereum) which allows for developers to easily transfer work to QuarkChain. QuarkChain will be capable of cross-shard transactions.
The consensus model for QuarkChain is two-fold, a PoW for the root chain, and root-chain first proof of work for the shards.
As mentioned earlier the timeline for the technology is extremely short, concluding with mainnet launch in the fourth quarter of 2018.
QuarkChain is following the popular model of token sales which is a large private sale followed by a much smaller crowdsale. The total hardcap for the project is a reasonable $20 million, with $16 available for the private sale and $4 million for the public sale.
The private sale is receiving a 25% bonus over the public sale but their tokens are released over a 7-month schedule. The total supply of QKC tokens will be 10 billion. In essence, 20% of all tokens will be sold, 15% to the team (2 yr lockup), 15% foundation (2 yr lockup), 5% advisors (2 yr lockup), and 45% to miners, community members, and marketing.
The competition for QuarkChain is small but growing. The current leader in the field is Zillaqa but only in terms of value (based on market cap). The high tps field has room for lots of projects to coexist as they will be serving the needs of financial, data, gaming, and IoT markets that are global in nature.
Other high TPS projects include DAGs like Constellation or blockchains like Credits and HPB.
This project has an extremely strong team with a technical group with vast experience. The group includes:

The advisor team for QuarkChain utilizes lesser known names but highly qualified experts in their respective fields of cybersecurity, engineering, and software development with members from Sun Microsystems, Cloudant, and academic universities.
The utility of the QKC token is similar to other blockchains.
The token has three main utilities:
- Use as a currency - Carrier of Value
- Use as Gas to power transactions.
- As an incentive to miners and community members for promoting the system.
QuarkChain is receiving massive hype from all corners of the cryptosphere. The team has employed a KYC and knowledge-based whitelist application.
