Its a well known fact that the Music Industry generates about $30b. The sector is one of the major revenue earners for any economy.
Sadly, 80-90% of the huge revenue it generates goes to the middlemen(promoters , record labels etc).....while the main artists gets the remaining meagre 20-10% as the case maybe.
