IONCHAIN, THE LONG AWAITED FUTURE OF IoT. (INTERNET OF THINGS)

    Internet of things (IoT) is a great technological advancement which allows the connection of multiple physical devices to internet. This is done basically by IoT to ensure that these physical devices can collect and share data within few seconds. Physical devices such as; fan, television, car, door, air-conditional, refrigerator and lot more now possess the capability to integrate with each other with the use of cheap possessors and wireless networks without finding the distance between them as a barrier against their fluent communication. With this great technological achievement, a pumping machine can detect when the tank is full, share the data with the switch and the switch will definitely go off after receiving the data.
Though, IoT is really amazing but no matter how good a technological achievement may be there will be a weak point in it which must be upgraded with time in other to show all the features embedded in such project. And that is why IONCHAIN finally came up with innovative ideas which turn out to be the long awaited future of Internet of things

WHAT IS IONCHAIN?

    IONChain is an organization created in Singapore with the motive of creating a better internet of things by providing solution to the problems enchanted in the cause of securing data, data circulation, data sharing and data transaction. These problems have been the significant source of flaws in the IoT industry. IONChain, a coined word from ionization chain provides a better internet of things by making every device on IONChain blockchain operate under a decentralized peer to peer application method.

WHAT ARE THE INNOVATIVE IMPROVEMENT IONCHAIN BROUGHT INTO INTERNET OF THINGS INDUSTRY?

   Though, IONChain brought a lot of improvement to the internet of things industry, but here are few of the improvement brought by IONChain:

• Every device is a mining machine: In order to overcome the problem encountered in the cause of transferring data, every device in IONChain ecosystem will automatically possess the ability to peruse and obtain data on their own without the help of any other device.

• Introduction of token: This idea was introduced by IONChain with the motive of compensating IoT users. IONC token is a token which IONChain issues to her users as an incentive base on the amount of data the user’s device as worked on. Via the ionization algorithm, IONChain is able to calculate the amount of data a device worded on and will eventually receive IONC token as mining reward.
• One device, one code, one coin: This is one of the significant improvement IONChain brought into internet of things (IoT) ecosystem. In IONChain, unlike what other IoT organizations who store the data of every device in a particular place (warehouse ), IONChain operates a decentralized method of IoT. In this method, to every single device in IONChain ecosystem, there is a unique identification number (code) which can also be used as wallet address in IONChain ecosystem and INOC token (coin) can be credited to devices with it.

• Strong security measure: Due to the fact that IONChain came up with the idea of operating IoT in a decentralized way, IONChain do not have the data of the devices in her ecosystem saved in a data base in other to prevent security flaws usually perpetrated by hackers.

• Increased transaction speed: It is obvious that transaction speed become slower with respect to how big the data is. This has consequently made an application which is supposed to be a real time application be a slow one. But with the introduction of inter planetary file system (IPFS) integration, IONChain is able to put an end to the reduction in transaction speed usually caused by large amount of data and every device in her ecosystem works in real time.

HOW IS IONCHAIN’S TOKEN (IONC) GENERATED?

    Just like I have said earlier, IONC, the currency used in IONChain ecosystem is given to every mining device according to the amount of data they are able to exploit and process. This token is generated by the following stages:

• Value generation: This occurs when all data is processed and stored in each device on IONChain ecosystem. The data is then converted to standard form and it is passed to the next stage (value verification stage)
• Value verification: With the help of PoW/PoS combination consensus mechanism, data is processed and forwarded to value evaluation stage.
• Value evaluation: In this stage, the data is evaluated by authenticating and protecting it from double speed attack.
• Value confirmation: This is the final stage, a stage where IONC token is generated after the data has been confirmed.

IONChain use case

    Mister Joel is a famous soft drink dealer who used to spend 75 percent of his time driving from one place to another in order to deliver drinks to his customers. Though, Mister Joel drives as fast as he can, yet, he couldn’t meet up with the time he has scheduled to deliver his drinks as a result of crowded road. His inability to deliver his goods at the appropriate time has conversely been a usual flaw in his business. Though, he has become famous in the business, but as a result of his usual flaw, his customers reduces day after day. This kept mister Joel in an unhappy state until when his friend introduced IONChain to him. Mister Joel joined IONChain ecosystem and get his smart device connected. With Mister Joel smart device, Mister Joel now receives information about how busy a road is and he can avoid traffic jam and meet up with his scheduled delivery time with the help of IONChain.
