EOS 21 Delegates - How easily can they be replaced if they misbehave?

in #blockchain6 years ago (edited)

Psy just wanna see a mainnet, and then Eye'll test the wallet with 1 EOS token.

More than likely the voting system will be set up like Lisk's dpos voting within the Lisk nano wallet which you can get here - lisk.io - go to products and scroll all the way down. Download the wallet and check it out.

Here is an overview of how Lisk wallet. Once you've downloaded it from the Lisk website, open the wallet app.

Click "New Account"

Click "Next" to create a passphrase by moving your password around.

The algorithm will generate a pass phrase, write it down off line.

You will be asked to verify a word from your passphrase.

Go back to the home page and log in with your new passphrase.

The inner functions of the wallet are very basic. The home page is your transaction page, obviously none here.

The 84879..... Address is your public address. That is where you send LSK(Lisk coins).

The voting tab is self explanatory
Votes on Lisk cost 1 LSK - you cats 4 votes for 101 delegates -
(That is very expensive compared to EOS's alleged free transactions )

The receive tab shows your public address and its QR code. both are the same.

There are some more options in the top right drop down menu - like registering to be a delegate, creating a second passphrase or signing a message.

This 15% voting plan for EOS sounds to me like there needs to be 15% consensus on a specific chain.. for the system to set off, but when others useres come into the ecosystem and place their vote the total value of voting may rise to 25-50%.. not to mention if this platform takes off how quickly the users will understand voting and the total votes cast could grow to 95%+ it the user base understood the operating system for what it was.....

What happens with the delegates and their positions.. 21 delegates is not a lot.. Lisk has 101. How often or not can we change our vote, where is the platform where the prospects - the potential delegates harbor.. yelling ' I have a server.. I'm ready - vote for me' ... just incase one of these 21 do not behave appropriately which is highly likely in an experimental environment like this.

How easily can voters remove someone? Who is next in line.. How do they find out?...
There is quite a lot of stuff to think about. Eye'm very happy Psy did not lock up coins in a contract. Great trading!

Lisk annum return is 11% (1%/month compounding)

What is EOS's forecasted return?

Which on will win?
