Perpetual Money Printing Machine

in #blockchain5 years ago

I was reading an article about perpetual motion machines, the kind that you add energy to once and the machine works forever. It occurred to me that Steem blockchain is like a perpetual money printing machine, but oddly enough not everybody who qualifies uses it everyday.

Let me explain.
The rewards pool is regenerated everyday or replenished. We all have ten 100% votes a day, or twenty 50% votes a day or forty 25% votes a day or some other combination. We could vote for 20 people and those 20 people can vote for us and we are all using new Steem made everyday.
Our vote is worth Steem in direct relationship to our Steem Power. We only have to buy Steem and convert it to Steem Power once. Then the rewards pool is regenerated daily and we get our new votes daily. 😊

The interesting thing is that not all Steemians use all their votes daily. Only a small percentage use all their votes. There are some who do, but they are the minority. Life is funny, here we have the chance to use what is essentially a perpetual money machine, but we don’t all use it.😳

Thing about what I have written and read about how Steem is made every day and how the rewards pool is regenerated everyday. Think about it and you will realize it’s like a perpetual money making machine. 🧐

I've used almost every single one of my votes although probably at least 1,000 didn't count. :(

Dust votes? Need Dust sweeper

I used to upvote like crazy and my upvotes didn't count since I didn't have any delegations.

The problem is, some people think they are doing you a favor upvoting your post they don't know they are indirectly helping themselves. If they don't vote at all, their earnings for that day as regards curation is lost. But some of these people relax and want people to upvote their own post. It doesn't make sense. You are hundred percent correct. People should take time to read and upvote post they like. Kudos.

Your right. They don’t understand that the stronger their followers get, the more value their upvotes have. They also don’t understand the rewards pool and your wallet are separate. Perhaps if enough posts like this are made people will learn.

Your right. The votes you don’t use, you lose.
Your also right that by building up those around you, you eventually help yourself.

Your right. Annoying it is, but perhaps they just don’t get it. Complicated this Steemit is...

Yes ... you're right steemit is like an eternal money printing machine. But in my area it is now excited because many steemit accounts have been hacked.

Sorry to hear that.
It’s a good idea to keep your master password or all your passwords saved on a thumbdrive , so if someone hacks your computer it’s harder for them to steal your passwords and hack your accounts. It’s also good not to save passwords to your browser and clear your browser memory when your done posting and sign off your account. I hope your account is okay.

A perpetual money making machine. Haha, good one :)

Yes sir I agree with you

Thank you for explaining this idea. Our upvotes come from the reward pool, not our wallets. If we don’t use them, we lose them.
Great points and good explanation.
