Gender equality has been one of the major talking points in today’s world. Women who have always been involved in many industries are finally getting the recognition they deserve.

One industry where the power of females has not yet been appreciated is the Crypto industry. Women have taken part in various roles, ranging from founding companies to even just being a popular public speaker explaining the strengths of Blockchain.

Women are not only making a mark in the industry but also addressing the very serious gender imbalance in technology. Here we list 10 women who have widely influenced the Blockchain and Crypto space.

Galia Benartzi

Benartzi is a serial technology entrepreneur known for spearheading various technological startups ranging from gaming to Blockchain. In 2016, she founded Bancor, a crypto company protocol for the creation of smart tokens.

The company had created a world record with their ICO where they raised more than $153 million in less than three hours. It allows anyone to create a cryptocurrency and operate it without the need for a third party exchange.

Zoe Adamovicz

Adamovicz is an experienced entrepreneur and occasional angel investor. She has founded a few tech startups such as Xyo and Priori Data.

When she realized the potential of Blockchain for Venture Capitalists, she decided to start a community-owned fundraising platform, Neufund that operates on the Ethereum blockchain.

The company allows startups, small and medium-sized businesses, and established companies to legally issue a new concept of asset ownership or, in other words, ‘tokenized equity’.

Hope Liu

Coming from humble backgrounds, Hope Liu is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of EximChain, which is a software development company that is focused on supply chain applications.

The company focuses on providing an efficient and secure means to connect, transact and share information using the Blockchain technology. It also helps in eliminating traditional supply chain barriers.

Liu is also the Lab Lead of the North America Blockchain Association.

Ayelet Noff

Noff is the Founder and Co-CEO of Blonde 2.0 with offices in Tel Aviv and Boston. The award-winning PR company is responsible for the publicizing of various technology startups and even aiding major companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Viber.

In 2017, she introduced a unit called BlondeChain that is designed to serve specific needs for Blockchain-based companies.

Since the founding of Blonde 2.0, Noff has led PR activities of more than 1000 companies and has provided lectures on how to pitch the media in conferences around the world.

Emma Channing

An alumnus of Stanford Law School, Emma Channing was the general counsel for Argon Group, the first investment bank for the crypto industry. Channing specializes in global capital markets, corporate finance, and financial regulatory issues. These niches have made her an invaluable presence in the blockchain space.

In her role as the CEO and General Counsel of the Satis Group, she helped founders launch new tokens and navigate the complicated legal waters of the burgeoning field of digital currency. Satis Group is a full-service initial coin offering (ICO) advisory firm.
