The Thai life and what to expect

It won't be long now that a lot of us would be making that trip to Bangkok to attend STEEMFEST 4 , the most anticipated STEEM Meetup event of the year.

As mentioned in @anomadsoul 's post-task this week, what would I be expecting when going to visit our neighboring country to visit and to meet amazing new friends. What would I be planning to do apart from attending SteemFest?

Even though Malaysia and Thailand is just sitting next to each other, there is a big difference in culture and also language. So , heading over to Bangkok is really fun ... been there a few times for holiday so there are just a few key places which I would really like to go again this time around.

Chatuchak Market !

Now this place is just a sea of stuff to get, and buy and most of the time you end up buying stuff you don't really need. Each time anyone heads over to Bangkok, you can never get enough of Chatuchak Market. There is just so much stuff you can get here.

Did you know that a large number of small boutique hotels in Malaysia buys their stuff from these markets? From customized soaps, candles and other decorative stuff is bought from here. So this is one place which I will surely visit.

Get an authentic Thai Massage

If you've not had a really good Thai massage, you don't know what you would be missing. The experience of Thai massage makes you feel just amazing as the technique they use is so different from those normal massages. Towards the end of it, you get stretched, pulled, and all you can hear is your body releasing all its stiffness making you feel refreshed.

Get a taste of some local food

Being a typical Malaysian, we love food and Thailand shares almost the same thing. And good food you get at the restaurant with nice ambiance and waiters waiting to serve you ... however GREAT Food is what you will get on the streets.

This would surely be something which I would be hunting from the day I reach Thailand and if you like to find these local delicacies, Thailand is surely the best place to find it.

Apart from those, I don't think I would have much time to roam around freely in Thailand however I would surely be looking forward in meeting all of you would be heading over to SteemFest !
