Green economy and green growth:-- In this simplest expression, a green economy can be described as one that is low carbon, resource efficient and socially inclusive. A green economy can advantage of new growth trajectories designed to be more socially inclusive, as well as responsive to poverty reduction and economic diversification objectives.
A green economy is one which the vital links between economy, socity and environment are taken into concidaration. A green economy ins one that results in improved human well-being and social equity, and at the same time considerably reducing environmental risks and ecological scarties. In a green economy, growth in income and employment is driven by public and privat investment that reduce carbon emission and pollution, enhence energy and resource efficiency, and prevent the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
