Standing in the path of an incoming jet was an unexpected add on to the bike ride.
There is nothing like watching the beach and ocean for 5 minutes during a bike ride. It is a bit of a breather too! There are lots of different beaches along the coast line to check out. So here we were standing there on a platform deck next to the Marcoola Surf Club when we heard the noise of a plane.
A big Jetstar passenger jet was coming our way. The wheels were down, it was on its way to land at the Airport a couple of kilometres away.
In no time at all it was flying low over our heads. It was very loud.
The jet went as quickly as it came, gone in seconds. It was on a mission to drop off holiday makers from the cold southern States for a warm holiday at the Sunshine coast.
We got back on our bikes and kept pedalling, it was an entertaining stop.

Haha, yes it did. Another bike ride is on the planning board this afternoon. Trying to make it a longer one, we need an odometer because at this stage we are estimating. 30 kilometres is the goal!!
