Starting To Get Hot

Took the above screenshot from the local government weather forecaster. Temperatures are going to start hitting the 30s next week and even worse, it's going to be raining too. That's a double-whammy.

Rain doesn't help

It's nice when rain cools things down but in the summer months, it doesn't really help to lower the temperature and instead, only raises the humidity. For a country that sees a lot of rain, i'm surprised there hasn't been more infrastructure to help citizens deal with the rain like sheltered walkways like we have back home.

Five more months

The not so good weather is going to last for 5 months till October, before things finally start cooling down. November to March sees nice weather in Hong Kong and i'm already starting to miss it even though this year we got lucky and had nice weather even in April.
