I recently saw this movie called UFO and it reminded me of Contact

One of the genres I enjoy most is thriller/mystery. That's why when I saw that a new movie called UFO had come out I went to check its reviews on imdb and rottentomatoes and since it had acceptable ratings, I decided to watch the movie.

The story consists of a student very talented in mathematics who manages to discover the news networks are wrongly reporting a UFO sighting at an airport. The protagonist thanks to his calculations and his insistence on discovering what is happening, concludes that the object must have been much larger in size than the one reported by the media and that is when he gets fully involved in this issue. Eventually, he will end up discovering many other inconsistencies.

The most similar film that comes to mind is Contact from the late 90s, with the big difference that Contact was not a small production but a super production with famous actors. Anyway, UFO is interesting and worth seeing, however, for those who have not seen Contact you should know that it is one of those films that are a MUST WATCH, especially for science fiction fans. The plot is similar (the search for aliens) but in Contact everything is much more elaborated with more cripping moments.
