Liverpool just won the UEFA Super Cup

As expected, Liverpool is the new champion of the UEFA Super Cup. I didn't expect this match to be decided by penalties but both teams were really competitive. I was expecting Liverpool to win easily because Chelsea was just beaten 4-0 against Manchester United a few days ago, so I thought that team was in very bad shape.

A new trophy for Klopp who despite being a great manager he hasn't won too many medals but this year he is my favorite to win the honor of manager of the year. The other manager competing for this would be Guardiola, who won every trophy in England. But in my opinion, the Champions League is the most important trophy and Liverpool hasn't invested as much money as City in the past few seasons, which makes Klopp's accomplishments much more worthy.

I hope great managers like Klopp and especially Pochettino can one day work in one of those super powerful clubs (mainly PSG, City, Real Madrid and Barcelona) to see what they can accomplish. So far, Klopp has reached 3 Champions League finals and won 1, and Pochettino 1 Champions League final. The future for these 2 managers looks promising.

By the way, when will Mourinho return?
