Happy Valentine’s Day! / ハッピー バレンタイン！

It’s Valentine’s Day everyone!
Have you given some chocolate for your Valentine?
Well, I haven’t haha...but I helped my daughter preparing her valentine’s cards to share with her classmates.
The school usually suggests to prepare the valentines for everyone in the class if you are giving away.
So I usually buy a set of valentine’s cards and some candies and make up something small to give away.

バレンタインですね〜
皆さんは、大切な誰かさんにチョコレートをあげたりしましたか？ワクワクw
私は何の用意もしてないですけどね、笑…次女ちゃんがクラスメイトにあげたいと言うので、その用意は手伝いました。
こちらの小学校ではクラス単位でちょっとした交換の様な事をするのですが、もらえないお友達が出ない様に、全員分を用意するように言われます。
紙で作ったバッグを机に吊るしておいて、皆んなに配る感じです。
だいたい一人にキャンディかチョコレートを二つずつくらいですかね。

Here are the things that came in the box of valentine’s set.
The little cards with cute and fun messages on it and some cute stickers.
The funny thing is...that the box says “THE DOG AND FRIENDS” but there are no dog cards in it.
WHY???
We are kind of looking forward to the dog one...
I think we got tricked lol.

ドラッグストアなどに行くと、こんな感じの可愛い絵とメッセージが入ったカードセットを買うことが出来ます。
3ドルちょっとです。
そして大体、シールか缶バッジなどのおまけが付いています。
今回買ったものはカードとシールが32セット入っていました。
でもですね、おかしな事に、この箱には “ドッグ アンド フレンズ” と書いてあるのですが、ドッグのカードが一枚も入っていない！
結構ドッグのカードを楽しみにしてたんですけどね〜
ダマサレタ！笑

Anyways, I got my daughter to write TO and FROM on the cards.
Then put them in the clear bags with a couple of candies and we are ready for Valentine’s Day!

さてさて、次女ちゃんにTOとFROMのところに名前を書かせて、今年は小さめのチョコレートが見つからなかったので、グミとチュッパチャップスミニを一つずつ入れて出来上がりです。

The school was open as usual and most of the transit was back to normal today.
Of course I got “Whhhyyyy school?????” from both of my kids this morning haha
I’ve heard that we are expecting more snow fall.
I hope it doesn’t get too crazy.

おまけ
今朝、仕事に向かう途中に撮った写真です。
学校はいつも通りオープンして、今日はバスや電車もそれほど混乱していませんでした。
良かったです。
もちろん、我が家の娘たちは朝から ”えぇぇぇ〜〜〜なんで学校？？？“ とブツブツ言っていましたが無視、笑。
天気予報によると、まだ雪が降るみたいです。
あまり大変なことになりませんように。
